stories cafe

Stories Coffeehouse…is it a coffeehouse or is it a story? Owner, Melissa Stephens has developed a business model that is the first of it’s kind. The concept can be defined as “simple synergy” and provides the perfect incubator environment for women-owned start-up culinary companies to launch and flourish. With access to commercial kitchen space, shared rent and overhead, reduced risk, access to professional photography and branding consultation, and the synergy of several passionate business owners driving traffic to one location, this business model is not only innovative but bold. The name, “Stories Coffeehouse” says it all. The stories of the women involved will provide inspiration for patrons and aspiring business owners alike. With décor rich in history and a touch of whimsy, a customer can expect to get much more than a gourmet cappuccino and slice of Boston Cream Pie…we’re serving up stories at this coffeehouse!

Luv. It’s like walking into a Coffeeshop built by Pinterest! So many cute things to look at. The four cheese macaroni is to die for.

I frequent Stories at LEAST three times a week… if you’ve never been there, you are missing one of the coolest places in the metro. I am there all the time, and I still see something new each time! The staff are amazing, and it is the kind of place that makes you feel at home… it’s locally owned, and Amber and Kevin Christ work very hard to make you comfortable ~ They have something very special… as much as I’d like to keep this place a little secret, Omaha deserves to know all about it! Great food… unbelievable desserts…wine… beer… amazing biscotti… and yes, they have super coffee!

This quaint little place gives you the feeling of friendship the minute you walk in the door. It’s welcoming and warm decor is charming, the food and beverage choices are a blend all their own and Melissa is a woman with leadership, determination and heart. It’s perfect for breakfast, lunch, an afternoon coffee and even date night!

Quite possibly the coolest vibe in Omaha. The owner, Melissa, is a creative genius and has designed a coffee shop that that really gives you the look and feel of being somewhere special. She’s put together and all-star cast of fellow entrepreneurs that work really well together. Take don’t my word for it. Go check it out for yourself.
